Well, I think I'm leaning more towards doing a complete re-start on Star Dust here. I'm finding that I prefer Lugana over the Dublin Linen and with the first page being so blah....

I just generally think I'd feel better about the piece if I did a re-start versus salvaging what's left and all that frogging still left to do. Now I'm on the look-out for some nice hand-dyed fabric to start again on. I think with such a "dark" piece it was kinda stupid of me to decide on white fabric in the first place.

Ah well, c'est la vie. I've learned a lot about my stitching preferences since I started her some time ago and I think I'd do a lot better a second time around. If it was for myself I'd probably just say, "screw it" and keep plugging along but since it's a wedding gift for a good friend I want it to be as perfect as I can make it. Which... I know is a tall order, but at the very least I know I can do better than what it's at now.

Still working on Black Cat for the Fairy Day SAL and then I'll probably finish up my CDC afterwards. I'll definitely be working Star Dust into my rotation though. I'm feeling better about her now that I've finally decided what to do with her. That's a good start I think.
