It's been a long time since I've worked on this one. Everything started out fairly okay (surprisingly) considering this was my first foray into cross-stitch projects in anything smaller than 18 ct Aida as well as having over 10 colors.

I started her with the idea of it being a much belated wedding gift for a friend who actually got married in 2005.... Yeah... maybe it'll make it to the 5th Anniversary if I'm lucky. But anyway, said friend (the bride of course) loves the color purple and has several books on fae art and Star Dust just called out to me on behalf of her.

I'm about 1/4 of the way through with page 2. I haven't picked her up in a long time mainly because I read the chart wrong and grabbed the wrong floss color for about 300 or so stitches. I spent hours frogging them and got fed up with that so I set her aside and moved on to other projects. I did have the itch to pick her up again a couple months ago but discovered she was MIA. I recently found her again stashed into a DMC Stitchbow Binder.

I'm actually toying with the idea of doing a complete restart for several reasons. Mainly the ripping is still not going very well (a lot left to do), I started her before I discovered Q-Snaps and the tension on the first page is so off it's appalling, and the fact that since this was my absolute first foray into the world of advanced stitchery it's not the greatest quality. I've learned a lot from the other completed projects and WIPs I've done in the meantime and know that I can do better. Time will tell what I decide to do I guess. I haven't made up my mind either way.

But anywho... here's the WIP photos of what is done so far. There is no updated photo showing the completion of the project to the point it's at now though.
